Did you attend the Town Center Grand Opening on Saturday? It was a picture perfect day for the long-awaited unveiling of the Peachtree Corners Town Center and Town Green.
The day included the unveiling of the Veterans’ Monument, a touching tribute to the men and women who served or are serving our country. If you missed it, please take the time to visit the monument, it will be well worth it. It is located on the Town Green at the Town Center.
In the coming weeks five bronze statues representing each of the armed forces plus an eagle atop the central pillar will be installed, completing the monument. And at 10 a.m. on June 15, a special dedication for the Veterans Monument will be held.
The monument includes bricks (pavers) with veteran’s names, a number have already been placed at the monument. If you have a veteran in your life, this would be a perfect opportunity to remember him or her by purchasing a paver.
The last day to order pavers to be installed before the June 15 dedication is Friday, May 3.
