We’re not your average media company.
Peachtree Corners Magazine and Southwest Gwinnett Magazine are part of a lean, fast-moving local media group that connects readers and businesses through high-impact storytelling, community journalism, and cross-platform content. Through our magazines, websites, podcasts, newsletters, social media, and Mighty Rockets Creative (our in-house content studio), we help local businesses get seen, get heard, and grow.

What We’re Looking For
We need a boots-on-the-ground closer—a motivated Account Executive who thrives on building relationships, pitching creative ideas, and landing deals. You’ll be selling across both digital and print products, working directly with the publisher, and shaping what local marketing looks like in Gwinnett and beyond.

This is not a cushy desk job. You’ll be out meeting business owners, attending chamber events, and following up with prospects. Some admin work can be done remotely, but success in this role depends on being in-market and in motion.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prospecting and closing new advertisers across print, web, email, podcast, and social
  • Building long-term relationships with local businesses, city leaders, and community players
  • Pitching creative, tailored marketing solutions that work
  • Working side-by-side with the publisher to expand and refine sales strategy
  • Attending networking events and being seen as a go-to media partner in the community
  • Tracking performance and hitting monthly revenue goals

What You Bring

  • At least 2 years of proven sales experience (media, digital, print, or local B2B is ideal)
  • Confidence to cold call, follow up, and keep deals moving
  • Ability to manage your own time and pipeline without handholding
  • Comfortable talking marketing strategy with small business owners
  • A working knowledge of social media and digital marketing trends
  • Based near Peachtree Corners, Norcross, or Duluth—you know the area and its business landscape

Compensation
This is a commission-driven role with a small base pay to help cover essentials. It’s built for someone who wants to earn based on what they close. If you’re hungry, strategic, and ready to be part of something that’s growing fast—we want to talk.
