Advertising Sales Executive – Print, online and sponsorships

Are you a top-level talent who wants the opportunity to control when you work and how much you earn?

The ideal candidate will have experience selling print and digital advertising and sponsorships. You will be charged with the task of discovering, developing, and maintaining new accounts and clients.

You will work closely with our hands-on publisher and owner to meet the client’s marketing needs in the magazine and online. The sales executive should have a track record of success and an entrepreneurial spirit that will allow them to quickly ramp up their account base and begin generating revenue.

This job is based in Gwinnett County (encompassing Peachtree Corners, Norcross and Berkeley Lake, and southwest Gwinnett), and we offer tools and resources to present to prospects as well as a commission-based pay structure.

Products include:

• Peachtree Corners Magazine print ads
• New planned magazine print ads
• Online web ads
• Weekly newsletter
• Video production and photography
• Content production for corporate accounts
• Sponsorships of podcasts and print

Responsibilities:

• Generate new business opportunities through personal selling activities and targeted networking
• Ability to make sales and meet with clients in person or through the utilization of online tools
• Uncapped commission
• Initially weekly phone or zoom follow-ups with the publisher, later meetings as needed, with a minimum of twice a month phone or zoom calls

Requirements:

• College Educated preferred, but not required
• 1+ years sales experience preferred
• Strong communication skills – oral and written
• Candidates who understand the consultative selling experience. They will be able to find and cultivate accounts professionally in a trustworthy manner. No hard sales here.
• Candidates with a network or membership in professional associations, chambers will thrive here.
