Local Business Executive Roy Heintz Named to NSBA Leadership Council

Roy Heintz with Reliable Roofing in Peachtree Corners was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council.

NSBA is the nation’s oldest small business advocacy organization and operates on a nonpartisan basis.

Roy Heintz, a recognized leader in the small business community, joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small business advocates from across the country. Together, they work to promote the interests of small business to policymakers in Washington, D.C.

“As a small business executive, I see daily the importance of being involved and active when it comes to laws and regulation,” stated Roy Heintz.

“Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council will enable me to take our collective small business message to the people that need to hear it most: Congress,” he added

Roy Heintz joined Reliable Roofing in June of 2016, and serves as a senior leader for the growing national roofing company that primarily serves the multi-family housing industry.

Heintz spent 21 years as a college basketball coach and 11 years in the non-profit sector before joining Reliable.

He is also the author of LEAD Like A Coach: A Proven Way To Stimulate Employee Engagement And Productivity, and has been a professional speaker in the business sector for almost 30 years, specializing in leadership, organizational and culture development.

Heintz joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of his efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small business, including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs and how access to capital will impact small business.

The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small business advocates from across the country while ensuring small businesses a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key proposals.
