During their September 27th Council meeting, Jim Stone, owner of Tytan Pictures, announced that the City had won a 2022 Telly Award.  Stone presented the award to the Mayor and City Council that was won by the Mayor’s 2021 State of the City video.

The video, shot and produced by Tytan Pictures, was awarded a 2022 Silver Telly Award from the organization in their Non-Broadcast General Government Relations category.   The 2021 State of the City, normally given in person, was produced as a way for the Mayor to reach out to city residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“They say to win awards you need three things: you need time, you need technology, and you need talent. Peachtree Corners has always given us the time and resources to do our best work; it’s a great city with technology and we’ve got a few tricks up our sleeve too when it comes to filmmaking,” Stone said as he presented the award to the Mayor.  “But, most importantly you have to have talent not only behind the camera but really more importantly in front of the camera.”
