Scholarship Opportunities for Local High School Seniors

The Peachtree Corners Business Association (PCBA) is accepting scholarship applications through March 16, 2022.  Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. 

The Peachtree Corners Business Association (PCBA) announced its ninth annual scholarship opportunity for eligible local high school seniors who demonstrate community spirit and initiative.  The scholarship program was established in 2013 to encourage high school students to give back to the local community and schools.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2021 – 2022 Student Scholarship Program.  The PCBA will award two $1,000 scholarships to deserving graduating high school seniors.

Students can apply now by completing the Scholarship Application through midnight on March 16, 2022.  Students can submit their COMPLETE application by March 09, 2022, to enter a special raffle for “early entry”.

For Eligibility: Must be a High School Senior (12th grade) and meet at least one of the following:

  • A resident of Peachtree Corners, GA
  • Senior at Norcross High School, Wesleyan School, Paul Duke STEM High School, or Duluth High School (in Gwinnett County, GA)
  • Child of PCBA Member or Sponsor

Applications must include the Application Form, a copy of the student’s sealed or official transcript showing cumulative GPA, and an essay of 500 words or less. The essay should describe why the student is the best candidate for the scholarship including three (3) things they have learned that the student believes will help them in the future. Also, a separate page listing any of the following things the student has been associated with, including providing a brief description of their involvement in each: 

  1. School Organization Affiliation
  2. Sports Affiliation and Extra-Curricular Activities
  3. Areas of Community Involvement
  4. Personal time donated to Charitable/Humanitarian causes
  5. Activities completed or participated in to support the community, healthcare workers, first responders, and others.

“The PCBA is proud to continue this scholarship opportunity, which recognizes local students who have positively impacted the community,” says Allison Reinert, PCBA Communications Director.  “In previous years, we were impressed at the dedication to community service we saw from applicants. We look forward to honoring the deserving students who receive these scholarships, especially during these challenging times” shares Reinert.  Funds for the scholarships are raised throughout the year from PCBA membership, sponsorship, and our annual charity event.
