Gwinnett County Public Library Partners with Vision to Learn to Launch Eye Exams and Free Glasses for Students

Gwinnett County Public Library (GCPL) and Vision to Learn will provide free eye exams and eyeglasses to students in Gwinnett County during the summer.

Vision to Learn provides free eye screenings, eye exams and glasses for school-age youth living in low income communities in six states. The non-profit has served more than 80,000 youth at its mobile clinics. Vision to Learn estimates that 24,000 school-age youth need eye glasses in the metro Atlanta area. To address this problem, Gwinnett County Public Library will host five days of free eye screenings and exams this summer. 

Eye screenings and exams will take place between 9:30am to 3:00pm at the following Library facilities:

Monday, July 15 – Lilburn Branch 4817 Church Street, Lilburn, GA 30047

Tuesday, July 16 – Centerville Branch 3025 Bethany Church Road, Snellville, GA 30046 

Thursday, July 18 – Lawrenceville Branch 1001 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046

Tuesday, July 23 – Norcross Branch 6025 Buford Hwy, Norcross, GA 30071

Wednesday, July 24 – Buford Branch 2100 Buford Hwy, Buford, GA 30518

Friday, August 2 – Snellville Branch 2740 Lenora Church Road, Snellville, GA 30078
